Vintage Dirty Santa

Our family loves spending Christmas morning together. We have an annual Christmas brunch at our home where we host everyone, open presents, watch the kiddos play with their toys and spend the entire day laughing and enjoying each others company.   We usually do presents for everyone; I absolutely love finding the perfect gift for each of my family members, and usually start my shopping in October. But this year, we decided to do something a little bit different!

My mom, my sister and I are pretty much die-hard vintage shoppers. We delight in the perfect vintage bar set, squeal with glee when we sniff out a glorious Murano glass bowl and swoon over all things milk glass. It’s an obsession. So, we decide we would mix things up a bit this year, and instead of our longstanding tradition of a family gift exchange on Christmas morning, we would start a new “Vintage Dirty Santa” tradition!

I for one am completely jazzed about the whole thing and kinda crack up every time I say the phrase “Vintage Dirty Santa.” It just sounds so hysterical and conjures images of jolly old St. Nick in some sort of 1950’s Pin Up ad, too funny! I’ve been scouring my go to vintage shops and have found so pretty fantastic things for our day of merriment. Check out what my crew will be gifting during the game and let us know if you have any fun and creative traditions you share with your family and friends throughout the holiday season!

Merry Everything!
